Apex Legends Season 30 “Marked” launches Aug 4 with Bloodhound rework

Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment announced that Apex Legends Season 30, titled “Marked,” will go live on 4 August 2026. The update introduces a full rework of the Recon legend Bloodhound, adding a new passive that leaves a glowing trail, an enhanced tactical scan, and the Allfather’s Cloak ultimate that cloaks nearby legends for up to 12 seconds, boosts movement speed and provides threat‑vision, and ends early if the user takes damage or fires.

The seasonal overhaul also refreshes the World’s Edge map with an ancient‑god aesthetic, aurora‑lit skies and three new points of interest – East Village, War Camp and Tree Settlement. New “Corrupted Attachments” give powerful late‑game effects with a trade‑off, while the loot system is streamlined by removing assault and support bins, explosive caches, loot‑bin resets and wildlife loot. Legend‑specific buffs include a reduced cooldown and faster tactical for Loba, and faster movement, quicker wall‑building and a tougher tactical for Rampart.
