Speculation regarding Apex Legends Season 31 suggests a potential rework of the game’s Ring system. While Respawn Entertainment has not officially confirmed a Ring overhaul, the developer's 2026 roadmap includes a “New Battle Royale Feature” accompanied by imagery that appears to relate to the Ring.

Associate Design Director Josh Mohan previously noted that the core behavior of the Ring has remained largely unchanged for approximately five years. Developers have expressed interest in making Ring locations more predictable and easier for players to anticipate, addressing current concerns regarding the system's unpredictability.
