ApexBrasil launches EU export tool and funds Brazilian participation in Russian trade fairs

Brazil’s export promotion agency ApexBrasil unveiled a new online panel in São Paulo to help companies identify immediate tariff‑reduction opportunities under the Mercosur‑EU agreement. The tool lists 543 products across sectors such as food, machinery and chemicals, targeting 25 EU member states. Vice‑President Geraldo Alckmin said, “Celebrated the agreement, the challenge is to do business, expand sales, and seize opportunities.”

In a separate initiative, ApexBrasil announced subsidies covering up to 100 % of exhibition costs for Brazilian firms at 11 major Russian trade fairs, including full funding for the WorldFood Moscow event in 2026. ITE Group CEO Dmitry Zavgorodniy noted that the support “eliminates the main obstacle: the cost of entry.” The program aims to boost Brazilian exports of agricultural, food‑processing, machinery and mineral products to the Russian market.
