Aphrodite Latinopoulou calls for school uniforms in Greece

Aphrodite Latinopoulou, president of Voice of Logic, has called for the reintroduction of school uniforms in Greece. In a social media message marking the start of the new school year, she expressed a desire to see Greek schools adopt uniforms similar to those used in many European countries and private colleges.

Latinopoulou also commented on the appearance of female students, criticizing excessive makeup and stylistic choices. She stated, “Schools are neither runways nor nightclubs,” using colorful language to describe long nails and heavy eyelashes. She advised students to save such looks for after school hours and encouraged them to enjoy their youth.

Additionally, she addressed the relationship between students and educators, urging students to show respect to their teachers, noting that educators are there to help rather than to be feared in the classroom.
