Apiacás Court Opens Public Donation of Unserviceable Assets

The Comarca de Apiacás in Mato Grosso has issued an edital (public notice) to donate movable assets classified as idle, obsolete, uneconomical or unrecoverable for the Tribunal de Justiça de Mato Grosso. The donation process is open from 29 July to 12 August 2026.

Eligible participants are municipal, state and federal public bodies, as well as non‑profit entities that carry out activities of social relevance. The selection follows a priority order—municipal bodies first, then state, federal, NGOs recognised as public utility by the state, and finally civil‑society organisations. Applicants must submit a formal request by e‑mail with justification, CNPJ registration, statutes, legal‑representative documentation, address proof and a federal tax‑regularity certificate. If several institutions share the same priority level, the first request receives preference. Transport costs are borne by the receiving institution. The edital is signed by judge Lawrence Pereira Midon, director of the Forum of the Comarca de Apiacás.
