Apice tragedy: Three brothers found dead in family restaurant

A family tragedy occurred in Apice, Benevento, where three brothers—Gianni, Franco, and Donato Licciardi—were found dead at their family-run hotel and restaurant, the Hotel Licciardi. Investigators are treating the incident as a double homicide followed by suicide.

Preliminary findings suggest that one brother opened fire on the other two before turning the weapon on himself. The victims, aged 56, 61, and 65, were well-known local entrepreneurs. Two bodies were discovered outdoors, while the third was found inside the facility.

Authorities, including the Carabinieri and the Prosecutor's Office of Benevento, are investigating the motive.
