Apiro hosts 53rd Terranostra International Folklore Festival

The 53rd edition of the Terranostra International Folklore Festival begins in Apiro, organized by the Municipality and the Urbanitas Association. Running from August 9 until Ferragosto, the event features cultural performances, music, and dance from various international groups.

Participating nations include Argentina, Colombia, France, Easter Island, Serbia, and Ukraine. The inaugural evening features a preview from all groups at the former skating rink. Subsequent scheduled performances include Easter Island and Ukraine on Monday, Colombia and France on Tuesday, and Argentina and Serbia on Wednesday. The festival will culminate in a Folklore Gala on Friday.

Side events include 'Terranostra in gioco' for children in Piazza Baldini, the 'Art&Terra' craft and food market, and wine tastings. Additionally, cultural exhibitions such as 'I paesaggi marchigiani' and photography workshops will be held at Teatro Mestica.
