Apizaco government presents 2026 Municipal Youth Award

The Municipal Government of Apizaco, Tlaxcala, presented the 2026 Municipal Youth Award to recognize local young people for their achievements in academic, cultural, and social fields. During the ceremony, Mayor Javier Rivera Bonilla emphasized the administration's commitment to supporting new generations by creating spaces for expression, entrepreneurship, and integral development.

Among the award recipients are Miranda Cruz Ramírez, recognized in the Adolescent Art and Culture category for her work with the Escaramuza Charra of Rancho El Palmar; Emiliano Sánchez López, honored in the Adolescent Academic Achievement category for successes in mathematics competitions and chess; and Ana Citlally Sánchez García, recognized for her academic achievements and activism in human rights and gender perspective.
