APM Terminals awards scholarships to 50 undergraduates in Apapa

APM Terminals Apapa has awarded scholarships to 50 undergraduate students from its host community in Apapa, Lagos. This latest group brings the total number of beneficiaries under the company’s scholarship programme to 151 nationwide.

The recipients are enrolled in public universities and accredited tertiary institutions across Nigeria. The initiative is a component of the company’s corporate social responsibility strategy, which focuses on three pillars: education, healthcare, and environmental sustainability.

Koen De Backker, CEO of APM Terminals Nigeria, stated that investing in education aims to develop young Nigerians for future growth. Terminal Managing Director Kamal Alhraishat noted that the programme reflects the company’s commitment to sustainable community development through investment in people.
