Apocaelypse releases debut metal album ‘Fæenix’

The metal band Apocaelypse has released its debut album, titled ‘Fæenix’. Led by guitarist and vocalist Ira Black, known for his work with Vio-Lence, Lizzy Borden, and Metal Church, the project features a lineup including Ira Black IV, drummer Lonny Pasillas, and former Five Finger Death Punch bassist Matt Snell.

The album explores themes of perseverance, rebirth, and survival, moving between personal subject matter and broader societal examinations. The production for the album includes work by Kane Churko and mixing/mastering by Chris Collier. The band has already seen chart movement with the single ‘Intell-i-gents’, which addresses the relationship between humanity and artificial intelligence, and the single ‘Black Box’, which focuses on personal trauma and survival.
