Apodaca to inaugurate new animal welfare sanctuary

The municipality of Apodaca is preparing to inaugurate its Animal Welfare Sanctuary on October 10. Located near the Agua Fría settlement, the facility is designed to provide physical and emotional rehabilitation for rescued animals to prepare them for adoption.

Mayor César Garza Arredondo stated that the project is in its final stages and will include three medical offices, administrative areas, and extensive green spaces to allow animals to spend time outdoors. The sanctuary aims to increase the municipality's capacity to care for rescued animals and facilitate their transition into new homes.
