APOEL FC spokesperson Nektarios Petevinos has addressed several key issues ahead of the new football season. Regarding the club's objectives, Petevinos stated that winning the championship will be difficult due to high competition, suggesting that the club's true victory this year lies in overcoming broader institutional or financial challenges rather than just sporting achievements.

On the roster, Petevinos noted that the club remains open to transfers following the August window. He emphasized that recent signings were low-risk players with familiarity with the Cypriot league. He also provided an injury update, noting that Pieros, Kattirtzis, and Mancini are currently sidelined, while Zelenika remains unregistered due to an embargo.

Additionally, Petevinos clarified the club's attendance record, correcting misconceptions by stating that APOEL achieved a record of 9,201 tickets during the 2024/2025 season.
