APOEL marks 100th anniversary with motorbike parade in Nicosia, police impose traffic controls

On Friday, 31 July 2026, the centenary of the APOEL sports club will be celebrated in Nicosia with a motorbike parade that starts at the APOEL headquarters on Limassol Avenue at 19:00. The route will pass through Griva Digeni, Lycavitos, Evangelou and Larnakas streets.

The Cyprus Police announced increased patrols and temporary traffic restrictions along the course. Drivers are urged to follow detour signs and police directions, while participants are asked to comply with road‑traffic rules and cooperate with officers to ensure a safe and orderly event. The police may intervene if the gathering becomes disorderly or poses a risk to persons or property.
