APOEL signs Serbian midfielder Filip Đuričić as Greek defender Manolis Siopis seeks move
Cyprus' APOEL FC confirmed a preliminary agreement to sign Serbian midfielder Filip Đuričić, pending medical examinations in the Netherlands. Đuričić, 31, has previously played for clubs including Heerenveen, Benfica, Mainz 05, Southampton, Anderlecht, Sampdoria, Sassuolo and Panathinaikos, with over 450 career appearances.
At the same time, Greek centre‑back Manolis Siopis, 32, was left out of Panathinaikos’ match in Hungary and remains in Athens. His agent reports that Siopis is looking for a new contract, with APOEL reportedly interested in offering a two‑year deal at reduced wages compared with his current Panathinaikos contract that runs until 2027.
