Apollo Has Fallen series expands the Has Fallen franchise

The 'Has Fallen' action franchise is expanding into television with the new series 'Apollo Has Fallen'. Following the events of 'Paris Has Fallen', the eight-episode series features returning characters Vincent Taleb, played by Tewfik Jallab, and Zara Taylor, played by Ritu Arya.

The plot centers on an international conflict triggered by a hijacked plane off the coast of Libya. The protagonists must confront Yuri Mishkin, a Russian mercenary leader of the Voltov group, who aims to spread a deadly virus across Europe. The story involves a race against time through various European capitals and conflict zones, complicated by the presence of a traitor within their own ranks.

'Apollo Has Fallen' is scheduled for release in mid-September 2026. Canal+ will broadcast the series exclusively in France, starting with a two-episode premiere followed by weekly installments. The series is also set for a simultaneous launch in 55 countries via streaming platforms including HBO Max.
