Apollo Sports to expand solo travel offerings amid record demand

Apollo Sports, a division of Apollo Rejser, reports record interest in its solo travel concept, noting that sales have increased by 30 percent over the past year. Many departures have sold out well in advance, leading the company to plan a nearly 30 percent increase in solo departures for 2027 to meet demand.

According to Sports Director Daniel Giray, the concept appeals to travelers seeking the freedom of solo travel while maintaining opportunities for social connection through shared interests, such as training and activities. The program includes private rooms and facilitates social interaction through group sessions. The company notes high customer loyalty, with nearly one in five solo guests booking a subsequent trip.

In addition to expanding the solo concept to include yoga and recovery-focused themes, Apollo plans to launch a new charter program from Sønderborg Airport to Greece, including destinations such as Chania on Crete and Ioannina, starting next summer.
