Apollo Tyres introduces Altrust Winter tire for light commercial vehicles in Europe

Apollo Tyres has launched the Altrust Winter tyre for light commercial vehicles across Europe. Developed over two years at the company’s R&D centre in Enschede, Netherlands, the tyre earned an “A” rating for wet grip and a “B” rating for rolling noise at 72 dB. It joins the Altrust range, which also includes summer and all‑season models, and is aimed at fleet operators who need reliable winter performance.

The Dutch brand Vredestein, part of Apollo Tyres, marked its 20‑year partnership with the Ennstal‑Classic historic rally, which this year saw around 200 classic cars cover a 1,000‑km Alpine route. Vredestein supplies a dedicated line of old‑timer tyres for the event and sponsors the Youngster Trophy to encourage youth participation in historic motorsport.
