Apollon FC completes transfer of defender Emmanuel Aïbou

Apollon Limassol announced the signing of Austrian defender Emmanuel Aïbou on an immediate basis, ending his contract with Austrian club Sturm Graz that ran until the summer of 2028. The Cypriot side reportedly made a significant financial effort to secure the transfer, navigating complex negotiations to obtain the player's release.

Aïbou, 25, has previously played for Rapid Vienna, Cremonese and spent time on loan at Bologna, among other clubs. The addition is expected to strengthen Apollon's defensive line for the upcoming season and could see him listed for European competition as the team prepares for matches featuring players such as Dila Gori.
