Apollon Limassol maintains unbeaten streak after derby draw

Apollon Limassol secured a 0-0 draw against Omonia Nicosia in a recent derby, maintaining an undefeated streak through three consecutive high-stakes matches against Aris, Anorthosis, and Omonia.

Coach Hernán Losada managed the squad through significant personnel challenges, including the absence of players like Alen Ozbolt due to illness and injuries to Danilo Spoljarić and Bruno Gaspar. Despite these setbacks, the team demonstrated resilience and tactical composure. Leonidas Komnomis was noted for his strong performance in midfield following defensive adjustments necessitated by injuries.

Losada emphasized the team's mental strength and positive mindset, stating, “When you cannot win, you do not lose.” He expressed optimism regarding the squad's potential once all players return healthy following the upcoming break.
