Real Madrid to trigger buyback clause for Jacobo Ramon

Real Madrid is reportedly preparing to activate a buyback clause to bring defender Jacobo Ramon back to the club in the summer of 2027. The 21-year-old, who moved from Real Madrid to Como in 2025, has seen a significant rise in market value, currently estimated at approximately €45 million.

Under the guidance of coach Cesc Fabregas, Ramon has become a key player for Como in Serie A, demonstrating strong defensive and offensive capabilities. While Real Madrid intends to exercise the clause, which is valued at less than €9 million, the club will later decide whether to integrate him into the first team or negotiate a new sale to a club, potentially in the Premier League.

Several Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United, have been monitoring the defender. While interest from English clubs remains high, Real Madrid’s contractual advantage provides them with a strategic opportunity to secure the player at a price significantly below his current market valuation.
