Specifically, the track was inspired by the experiences of a woman from western North Carolina whose family was forced off their land in the 1940s during the Tennessee Valley Authority's flooding of regional communities. The band aims to use their blend of traditional bluegrass and storytelling to honor the resilience of those who have endured such changes.
