Apple adds 37 hardware identifiers ahead of upcoming event

Apple iPhone 18 hardware identifiers product launch iOS

Apple has added 37 new hardware identifiers to its backend, signaling upcoming product releases ahead of its “Surprise and Shine” event. The new identifiers cover a wide range of categories, including iPhone, Mac, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and HomeAccessory.

Among the identifiers, seven are linked to the iPhone lineup. While rumors suggest the iPhone 18 series may include models such as the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and an iPhone Ultra, the presence of seven identifiers suggests a potential seventh model or a regional variant. Other anticipated hardware includes the Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4, M6-powered iMac and MacBook Pro models, and an OLED iPad mini.
