Apple adds AI accessibility to iOS 27 as Tencent launches Marvis on iOS

Apple released the third developer beta of iOS 27 on 10 July, introducing a suite of AI‑driven accessibility features. New tools such as “Magnifier Ask” provide real‑time visual descriptions, an enhanced VoiceOver narrates the physical environment, and a natural‑language Voice‑Control lets users issue precise commands. The functions run locally on supported devices (iPhone 17 Pro, Pro Max, Air) using an on‑device model that balances performance with privacy.

Tencent announced that its AI assistant Marvis is now available for iOS, extending the service beyond desktop and Android. Marvis operates through six specialized AI agents that can organize files, adjust system settings, and remotely control a PC from a smartphone. A dedicated Privacy Mode processes user data locally rather than sending it to the cloud, emphasizing data protection while enabling deeper system automation.
