Apple and MLB to stream immersive 3D baseball games on Vision Pro

Apple and Major League Baseball (MLB) have announced that four upcoming Friday Night Baseball games will be streamed live in the Apple Immersive format for Apple Vision Pro users. The immersive experience features an 8K 3D video feed with a 180-degree field of view, designed to place viewers within the stadium environment.

The first immersive broadcast is scheduled for August 28, featuring the Boston Red Sox against the New York Yankees. Other scheduled immersive games include the Los Angeles Angels at Pittsburgh Pirates on September 4, the San Diego Padres at San Francisco Giants on September 11, and the San Francisco Giants at Los Angeles Dodgers on September 18.

Vision Pro users will have access to dedicated commentary, immersive graphics, and replays. The games are available through an Apple TV subscription. This feature is available to users in several regions, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
