Apple iPad leaks reveal A19 chip and 8GB RAM for next budget model

Leaked details from Apple's internal code suggest significant hardware upgrades for the next generation of the company's entry-level iPad. The upcoming model is expected to feature the A19 chip and 8GB of RAM, a notable increase from the current model's A16 chip and 6GB of RAM.

These hardware improvements are expected to enable support for Apple Intelligence and an updated version of Siri. Connectivity is also slated for an upgrade, with reports indicating the inclusion of the C1X modem for sub-6GHz 5G support, and the N1 wireless chip, which would provide compatibility with Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and Thread technology.

While an official release date has not been confirmed, some reports suggest a potential launch around spring 2027. Due to the enhanced specifications, analysts anticipate a price increase from the current base price of approximately $449, with estimates suggesting a new starting price near $499.
