Apple bundles Apple TV and Apple Arcade into iCloud+ in 100+ markets

Apple is significantly restructuring its subscription model in over 100 countries by bundling Apple TV and Apple Arcade into iCloud+ plans at no additional cost. This change applies to all paid tiers, including the entry-level 50GB plan. In many of these markets, Apple TV and Apple Arcade will no longer be available as standalone subscriptions, as existing individual subscribers will be automatically transitioned to the iCloud+ bundle.

In addition to streaming and gaming, the expanded service includes Apple Music Select, which offers ad-free, curated music stations. This new offering is designed to provide a taste of the full Apple Music experience at a lower entry point.

The rollout is primarily focused on emerging and developing markets across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and parts of Eastern Europe, including Singapore, India, Turkey, Pakistan, and the UAE. Notably, the expansion excludes the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and most of Europe. This strategic shift appears to target price-sensitive regions where the previous Apple One bundle may have been less accessible.
