Apple cider vinegar consumption and weight loss studies

A 2025 meta-analysis published in the journal Nutrients examined the relationship between apple cider vinegar consumption and weight loss. The study, which analyzed 10 randomized trials involving 789 participants, found that daily use of apple cider vinegar was associated with a modest reduction in body weight.

However, researchers emphasized that scientific evidence remains limited. The studies varied significantly regarding dosage and duration of use, meaning the results are not conclusive proof of significant weight loss. Experts maintain that the most scientifically proven method for weight loss is maintaining a caloric deficit.
