Apple Cuts iPhone 17 Prices in India, Base Model Drops to Rs 1,00,900

Apple announced a Rs 5,000 price cut for the iPhone 17 in India, lowering the base model from Rs 1,05,900 to Rs 1,00,900 with no conditions or trade‑in requirements. The reduction aims to broaden the phone’s appeal amid stiff competition in the Indian smartphone market.

At the same time, Flipkart’s GOAT Sale offered the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max at their lowest ever Indian prices. The Pro Max fell from Rs 1,49,900 to Rs 1,39,900, with an additional Rs 10,000 off for Axis Bank credit‑card users, bringing the net price to Rs 1,29,900. The Pro model dropped from Rs 1,34,900 to Rs 1,24,900, or Rs 1,14,900 with the same card discount. Both devices are available with no‑cost EMI, exchange bonuses up to Rs 47,350, and limited‑time offers that could end without notice. The discounts come as Apple has raised prices for its MacBook and iPad lines this year, prompting analysts to view the iPhone price cuts as a strategic move to sustain market share in India.
