Apple enhances Photos app with AI memory films and Visual Lookup

Apple has introduced new features within its Photos app powered by Apple Intelligence and machine learning. Users can now create personalized memory films by providing text descriptions, which the AI uses to select relevant photos and videos, arrange them chronologically, and add music and visual effects.

Additionally, the Visual Lookup feature allows the Photos app to identify objects such as plants, animals, landmarks, and artworks. This functionality provides users with additional information and web-based context regarding the subjects in their images. The Visual Lookup feature is available on devices running iOS 15 or newer with an A12 Bionic chip or later.
