Apple executive Luca Maestri steps down from corporate services role

Luca Maestri has stepped down from his remaining operational duties at Apple, relinquishing his role overseeing corporate services. This move follows his transition from Chief Financial Officer to Kevan Parekh at the end of 2024.

Maestri’s former responsibilities included information systems and technology, information security, and corporate real estate. These duties have now shifted to the current CFO, Kevan Parekh. While Maestri remains on Apple’s payroll, he no longer holds operational responsibilities beyond teaching at Apple University and is reportedly winding down toward retirement.

Maestri’s departure coincides with the start of John Ternus’s leadership era at the company. During his decade-long tenure as CFO, Maestri helped oversee Apple’s growth into one of the world’s most valuable companies. His career prior to Apple included senior financial roles at General Motors, Nokia Siemens Networks, and Xerox.
