Apple expands Made for iPhone hearing aid compatibility to 623 models

Apple updated its Made for iPhone (MFi) hearing‑aid program, adding 43 new models from 22 manufacturers. The catalogue now lists 623 compatible devices from 104 brands, allowing users to stream audio from iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple Vision Pro directly to their hearing aids. Apple distinguishes between unidirectional streaming (audio only) and bidirectional streaming, which also supports hands‑free calls.

Among the newly listed devices are models from Bernafon, Oticon, Starkey, and others, with three existing models – Bernafon Entra A X, Pro Akustik Ineo A X and SoniTon Ineo A X – now marked as supporting bidirectional streaming. Apple also added the MacBook Neo to its system‑requirements list, enabling both streaming modes on macOS Tahoe 26.
