Apple prepares new Apple TV 4K and OLED-equipped iPad and Mac models

Apple is reportedly preparing significant hardware and software updates across its product ecosystem. A new Apple TV 4K is expected to launch with an A17 Pro chip or newer, doubling RAM to 8GB to support advanced AI capabilities. This device will likely feature the N1 wireless chip for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 support, alongside a redesigned Siri Remote identified in macOS code as ‘ATVRemote1,5’. The upcoming tvOS 27 is expected to introduce a more intelligent version of Siri, internally referred to as ‘com.apple.campo’.

In the tablet and computer segments, Apple plans a gradual transition to OLED displays. The iPad mini is a primary candidate for this upgrade, potentially featuring an OLED panel and a redesigned, more water-resistant chassis. Other devices slated for OLED integration in the coming years include the MacBook Pro, iPad Air, iMac, and MacBook Air.

Additionally, Apple is expanding its smart home presence with updates to the HomePod mini, which may incorporate the S9 and N1 chips to enhance AI-driven voice assistance and connectivity.
