Apple expected to launch new iPad mini with OLED display

Apple is expected to launch a new iPad mini between late October and November, featuring several significant hardware upgrades. The upcoming model is anticipated to transition from an LCD to an OLED display, providing improved contrast and brightness.

Technical specifications suggest the device will move from the A17 Pro chip to a more powerful A20 Pro chip, supported by 12 GB of RAM and a 32-core Neural Engine to enhance Apple Intelligence capabilities. The redesign is also expected to include a landscape-oriented FaceTime camera to align with the rest of the iPad lineup, thinner bezels, and improved dust and splash resistance through better chassis sealing.

Due to the increased manufacturing costs of OLED panels and advanced components, the device may be positioned as a premium niche product. While official pricing has not been confirmed, analysts suggest it may be priced higher than the current model.
