Apple faces shipping delays for Apple TV and HomePod mini
Apple is facing extended shipping delays for its Apple TV and HomePod mini devices in the United States. Current orders for the 64GB Apple TV are seeing delivery estimates stretching into October, while certain HomePod mini colors are currently unavailable or facing November delivery dates.
Reports indicate that new models of both devices are expected to launch later this year, potentially featuring faster processors designed to support Apple Intelligence and an enhanced version of Siri. The updated Apple TV may include the A17 Pro chip, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 6 support. The HomePod mini is rumored to receive an updated chip, such as the Apple Watch S9 or a newer version, to facilitate AI capabilities, along with improved sound quality and new color options.
Beyond these home devices, upcoming hardware updates may include a 14-inch MacBook Pro with an M6 chip, an updated Mac mini, and an iPad mini featuring an OLED display.
