Reports from Chinese social media leaker Instant Digital indicate that limited initial stock and the need for strategic regional distribution could impact availability.

Recent reports from Japan suggest that Apple has faced production challenges due to extremely strict internal quality standards, with output reportedly limited to a few hundred units per day in late August. These challenges stem from rigorous durability testing of the hinge and flexible display. While some sources in Australia predicted a staggered global rollout starting in the US, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has expressed skepticism regarding major delays, suggesting the device will likely launch alongside or shortly after the iPhone 18 Pro models.
