Apple hikes Apple Music and Apple One subscription fees worldwide

Apple announced price increases for its Apple Music and Apple One subscription services, citing rising music‑licensing costs. In the United States, the individual Apple Music plan now costs $11.99 per month (up $1), the family plan $19.99 (up $3), and the student plan $6.99 (up $1). Selected Apple One bundles also see higher monthly fees, with the family tier rising to $27.95 and the premier tier to $39.95.

In India, Apple raised the Apple Music individual plan from Rs 119 to Rs 139, the family plan from Rs 179 to Rs 229, and the student plan from Rs 59 to Rs 69. Apple One pricing in India now stands at Rs 195 for the individual tier, Rs 295 for the family tier, and Rs 995 for the premier tier. The changes have already taken effect and apply to other markets including the UK and Europe. Apple said the adjustments are necessary to offset the increased cost of licensing music content, and the service features remain unchanged.
