Apple incoming CEO John Ternus rehiring former hardware VP Laura Legros
Incoming Apple chief executive John Ternus is bringing back retired hardware engineering vice‑president Laura Legros to his senior team. Legros, who left Apple in 2022, previously managed product delivery, development schedules and cross‑team coordination, and presented the 2018 MacBook Air Retina and the 2020 iPad Air at Apple events. She will report directly to Ternus as the company prepares for the leadership transition, with Ternus slated to succeed Tim Cook as CEO on 1 September 2026. Cook will remain at Apple as executive chairman, focusing on policy engagement worldwide.
