Apple named first brand inducted into Brand Hall of Fame

Apple has been named the first brand to be inducted into the newly established Brand Hall of Fame by The One Club for Creativity. This honor recognizes the company’s 50-year legacy of innovation in design, branding, and communications.

The recognition marks a shift for the organization, which has since 1961 primarily honored individual creative luminaries such as Walt Disney, Andy Warhol, and Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, who was inducted in 2012. The new category is designed to celebrate companies that have made a profound and sustained impact on advertising and culture.

Key campaigns cited include the “1984” Super Bowl commercial, the “Think Different” campaign, the “iPod Silhouettes,” and the long-running “Shot on iPhone” series. Apple’s creative influence is noted to extend beyond advertising into its consistent aesthetic across product design, packaging, and retail environments.

The official induction ceremony is scheduled for September 16, 2026, at Capitale in New York City.
