Apple iOS 27 expands Translate to support 30 languages

Apple’s iOS 27 Beta 3 update adds nine new languages and dialects to the Apple Translate app, increasing the total supported languages from 21 to 30. The new additions include Malay, Norwegian Bokmål, Hebrew, Cantonese (Traditional Chinese), and several others. The update also brings broader keyboard and multi‑language typing improvements that were previewed at WWDC.

The complete language list now covers Arabic, Simplified and Traditional Chinese (including Cantonese), Danish, Dutch, British English (transcription only), US English, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian Bokmål, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, European Portuguese, Russian, Mexican Spanish, Spain Spanish, US Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese.
