Apple iPhone 18 design and release leaks

Leaked images and dummy models suggest the upcoming base iPhone 18 will feature a design shift, adopting a raised camera plateau similar to the Pro models. While maintaining the vertical camera arrangement seen in the iPhone 17, the new design includes a more prominent bumper covering the camera area. The device is expected to be available in three colors: white, pink, and dark blue.

Technical leaks indicate the iPhone 18 may feature the A20 chip and 9 GB of RAM. Notably, reports suggest a change in Apple’s traditional release schedule; rather than a September launch, the base iPhone 18 might arrive in March 2027. This shift is reportedly intended to avoid cannibalizing sales of the iPhone 17 and to accommodate the presence of other models like the iPhone Duo in the autumn lineup.
