Apple iPhone 18 Pro battery capacities revealed via EU labels
EU energy labels have revealed the battery capacities for the newly released iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. The iPhone 18 Pro features a 4,056mAh battery, a slight increase of approximately 1.45% compared to the 3,998mAh battery in the iPhone 17 Pro.
The iPhone 18 Pro Max shows a more significant improvement, with its battery capacity rising to 5,391mAh, an increase of roughly 11.8% over the previous generation's 4,827mAh. This expansion further widens the capacity gap between the two Pro models.
These specific figures apply to the EU versions of the devices, which retain a physical SIM card slot. In other markets where the physical SIM slot is removed, the extra internal space may allow for even larger battery capacities.
According to the energy labels, both models have received an 'A' rating for overall energy efficiency, a 'B' rating for durability, and a 'C' rating for repairability. The devices also feature IP68 dust and water resistance. Battery longevity data indicates that the capacity is expected to remain above 80% of its original level after at least 1,000 charging cycles.
