Apple iPhone lineup sees shifting availability and future design rumors
Apple's smartphone lineup is undergoing significant shifts in availability and future design. In Vietnam, the iPhone 16 Plus is gradually disappearing from official online stores, with retailers like Minh Tuấn Mobile and Di Động Việt reporting dwindling stock that may be exhausted by late December. This trend aligns with Apple's reported shift toward new models like the iPhone Air in 2025.
Regarding the iPhone 18 series, recent releases have impacted the secondary market. The launch of the iPhone 18 Pro Max has led to price adjustments for older models, such as the iPhone 16 Pro Max and 15 Pro Max, making them attractive options for budget-conscious consumers. In Vietnam, authorized resellers are receiving additional shipments of the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, though supply for specific high-demand colors and capacities remains limited.
Looking further ahead, rumors suggest major design overhauls for the iPhone 20 Pro series, expected in 2027. These models may feature a glass-heavy design with curved edges to minimize bezels, potentially resulting in larger displays. Additionally, the iPhone 18 Pro is rumored to introduce a 48 MP Fusion camera with a variable aperture and the A20 Pro chip, alongside significant improvements in battery life and thermal management.
