Apple iPhone 20 rumored to feature radical all-glass design
Reports suggest Apple is developing a radical redesign for the iPhone 20, intended to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the product line in 2027. The upcoming flagship is rumored to feature an all-glass construction with a quad-curved display that wraps around the edges of the device, aiming for a seamless, borderless appearance.
To achieve this, Apple is reportedly adapting manufacturing processes and machinery used for the iPhone Air. This specialized glass assembly technique is being modified to produce more rounded contours, which could improve ergonomics, enhance heat dissipation, and allow for a thinner device profile. Some leaks also suggest the potential for under-display Face ID and camera technology to eliminate traditional cutouts.
While these details remain speculative, supply chain reports indicate that manufacturing equipment has already undergone renovations to prepare for these complex glass components. The device is expected to launch alongside other premium models in the fall of 2027.
