Apple iPhone Duo battery capacity officially revealed
Apple has officially disclosed the battery specifications for its upcoming foldable device, the iPhone Duo, through European Union energy labeling documentation. The device features a total battery capacity of 4,883 mAh, achieved through a dual-cell configuration consisting of one 2,962 mAh cell and one 1,921 mAh cell.
This capacity places the iPhone Duo between the iPhone 18 Pro and the iPhone 18 Pro Max in terms of power. According to the energy labels, the device offers approximately 51 hours and 30 minutes of battery life per charge cycle under standard evaluation conditions. Specifically, the phone provides up to 44 hours of video playback when using the external screen and 31 hours when using the larger internal display.
The iPhone Duo is designed to support eSIM only, a feature that allows for optimized internal space. Apple indicates that the battery is engineered to maintain at least 80% of its capacity after 1,000 charge cycles. Pre-orders for the device have already begun, with sales and initial shipments expected to commence late this week.
