Apple iPhone prices rise in 2026 amid hardware cost hikes

Apple announced price adjustments for its iPhone lineup in 2026. In Indonesia, the newly released iPhone 17 series starts at roughly IDR 17.5 million, while the older iPhone 16 models saw their prices drop to between IDR 15.5 million and IDR 22 million, making them attractive alternatives for budget‑conscious buyers. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 14 remain positioned as lower‑cost options.

At the same time, Apple increased prices for a range of Mac and iPad products worldwide, citing higher memory‑module costs and the growing demand for artificial‑intelligence processing. MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iPad and other accessories were raised by US$100–200, with the changes first reported on 25 June 2026. Prices for iPhone models in Japan also rose 8%–11% due to yen weakness, while U.S. iPhone prices have not yet changed but could see future adjustments.
