Apple prepares September 2026 launch for iPhone 18 Pro and first foldable iPhone Ultra FAST-MOVING

Apple is preparing a major product lineup for September 2026, which is expected to include the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and the company’s first foldable device, potentially named the iPhone Ultra. Reports suggest a staggered release strategy where premium Pro models and the foldable device launch in autumn 2026, while standard iPhone 18 models may be delayed until early 2027.

The iPhone Ultra is rumored to feature a 7.8-inch internal display and a 5.5-inch external screen. Due to production and supply chain challenges, the foldable may initially be available only in the United States before expanding to markets like China. Technical hurdles regarding hinge systems and display quality have reportedly delayed mass production from June to August 2026.

Hardware upgrades for the iPhone 18 Pro series are expected to center on the A20 Pro chip, built on a 2nm process by TSMC, promising increased speed and efficiency. The Pro Max model may feature a triple 48-megapixel camera system. Additionally, Apple is rumored to be developing the MacBook Ultra, which could feature an OLED touchscreen and the Dynamic Island design.

In the wearables sector, new Apple Watch models, including the Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4, are anticipated. These may include upgraded chips to support Siri AI and potential design updates, such as the reintroduction of ceramic casing for premium options.
