Apple launches Dynamic Power Adapter with Europlug in Europe
Apple has expanded the availability of its Dynamic Power Adapter to European markets, including Portugal and Germany, featuring a compatible Europlug. The adapter is designed to support the latest USB Power Delivery 3.2 standard, which includes Adjustable Voltage Supply (AVS) technology to optimize energy transfer and reduce heat.
While the adapter provides a continuous output of 40W, it can dynamically increase power up to 60W during initial charging cycles. This capability allows iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max models to reach a 50% charge in approximately 20 minutes. The iPhone Air reaches the same charge level in 30 minutes.
The hardware features a compact design with retractable pins to facilitate travel. The adapter uses a USB-C connection, though the charging cable is sold separately.
