Apple launches second developer beta of iOS 27, iPadOS 27 and macOS 27 with enhanced Siri AI

Apple has released the second developer beta for its upcoming operating systems iOS 27, iPadOS 27 and macOS 27 "Golden Gate". The update adds a range of new features and refinements, most notably an expanded Siri AI experience. Siri now responds more quickly and can be accessed directly from the keyboard via a new "Write with Siri" option, which lets users draft, rewrite, summarize or generate text in any app.

Apple also closed a loophole that let some Mac beta testers bypass the official Siri AI waitlist by disabling a system flag; the new beta enforces server‑side verification. Bug fixes address issues such as screen‑capture cropping errors, background‑clock resets, and language‑display glitches.
