Apple launches 'Nido de Villanas' micro‑drama shot entirely on iPhone 17 Pro

Apple introduced a 14‑episode vertical micro‑drama titled **Nido de Villanas**, produced in collaboration with Mexico’s Televisa. The series was filmed exclusively with the iPhone 17 Pro, showcasing features such as Action mode, slow‑motion, focus shifting and 8× optical zoom.

The short‑form episodes, each about two minutes long, are designed for platforms like YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels and TikTok and are available for free on Apple’s YouTube channel and on ViX. The cast includes well‑known Latin‑American telenovela actors such as Itatí Cantoral, Gabriela Spanic, Ela Velden and Mariana Torres.

The project is part of Apple’s “Shot on iPhone” campaign, aiming to demonstrate that the latest iPhone can rival professional cameras for mobile‑first storytelling.
