Apple opens $250 million Siri AI lawsuit claims for iPhone users

Apple has opened the claims process for a $250 million class-action settlement regarding the delayed rollout of its Siri AI and Apple Intelligence features. The lawsuit alleged that the company engaged in misleading marketing by promoting advanced Siri capabilities—such as personal context awareness and on-screen interaction—that were not available when certain iPhone models were released.

To be eligible for a payout, claimants must be U.S. residents who purchased an iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, or any iPhone 16 model (including 16e, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, and 16 Pro Max) between June 10, 2024, and March 29, 2025. The purchase must have been for personal or business use and not for resale.

Eligible users can expect an initial payment of approximately $25 per device, though this amount may increase up to $95 per device depending on the total number of valid claims submitted. The deadline to file a claim through the official settlement website is December 21, 2026. While Apple agreed to the settlement to avoid the costs and risks of a trial, the company denies any wrongdoing or unlawful conduct.
